I am a current student working towards a bachelor's in English. My studies also focus on Theory, Rhetoric, and Culture. I will be graduating early next year. While I love English, I also have many other hobbies. I enjoy painting, playing guitar, drawing, and practicing my Spanish skills. While I was a high school student, I had the opportunity to be taught by some amazing English teachers. This helped me to develop my passions and motivated me to reach my educational goals. I used to struggle in school, so I can understand a lot of the frustrations that my students have. But, it's possible to get back on track. I've also served as an intern at an elementary school where I realized how much I enjoy helping students learn new concepts. In my past, I have also always been willing to help my fellow classmates with their work by helping them study or by editing their work. I want to help people achieve their goals, so I think being a tutor is a great way to do this. I want to help students use their critical thinking and I want to help improve their overall confidence. When I'm not studying or tutoring, I enjoy reading novels and writing my own stories.
